Nancy Sue visits her Dad - John Riley Brown - at Fort Snelling in Minneapolis on for his 100th birthday – August 24, 2019.

Here's Nancy Sue in the center, Michael Keller on the left, then Lisa Bobyak, Bob and
Rebecca White Becker, who all join in for the 100th birthday toast!

Nancy is joined by Lisa Bobyak and Becky Becker.
Lisa is the granddaughter of Russell Stein, whose daughter Maggie Fenstermacher is a longtime AWON Member.
Becky is also a longtime AWON Member - remembering her Uncle, Charles White.

As a addendum to the story, I received a letter in 2017 from the State of Montana saying that some legislation had passed,
and since I had a Gold Star License Plate, I was eligible to receive the Medallion above. I wrote back to them right away, and it arrived
on Father's Day Saturday in 2017.

Nancy's niece, Stephenie Holzhey honored John Riley Brown with an Army-themed trike
that was a hit at the annual bike gathering at Sturgis this year.

Joann Hosko ~ who honored my father with flowers and a penny on July 4, 2023. Joanne's son-in-law, Chris McCullough did extra
research ~ and produced this commemorative movie. I will always be grateful to both Joann and Chris for this remembrance.
